Joey Class's Report: Fri, November 27

We celebrated Asahi's birthday today.

We sang "Happy Birthday Song" together.  Asahi was so happy to blow off the candles on the cake and get a birthday medal.

We stamped on the big Christmas tree that we work together with the Joey Jump class using pink and red paint during art time.

It's really sad but today was the last day for us to spend time with Ai sensei...

We sang Christmas songs and danced to "The Gummy Bear Song".

Ai sensei, thank you so much for all the great time you have brought to us.

We look forward to seeing you again.

Wishing you the best in Denmark!

Joey Class's Report:Thu, November 26

We started making a big Christmas tree.  We are going to finish this in cooperating with the Joey Step class.

It will be a fancy Christmas tree.  We can't wait to see it!

We are starting making Christmas ornaments, wishing our artworks brighten up our day!
Today's dance time was their favorite, Baby Shark!

Joey Class's Report:Wed, November 25

It was rainy today, for the first time in a while.
Wishing for the rain to stop, we put on our jackets, changed our shoes and went down to the entrance door..., but unfortunately, the rain didn't stop...
Oh, well...    Let's look at the bright side.
The good thing was that they could practice putting on and taking off their clothes!

Lynnet sensei read us a book on Thanksgiving.
And we made a hand-print turkey.

Joey Class's Report:Tue, November 24

Two of our friends were absent today.  Head cold seems to be spreading gradually recently.  If you feel ill, please have a good rest!

The five friends were full of energy!  They enjoy their favorite plays with friends adding their own ideas.   This is how they play pretend trains using rocking horses.

They also love ABCs.  They were singing "ABC song" putting magnetic letters on the door.

We made "Family portraits" during art time.   We posted their artworks outside the classroom.  Please take a look at them and guess which is which.   🙂

Joey Class's Report:Fri, November 20

Although it has been surprisingly warm recently, it's almost winter.

We can spot beautiful autumn leaves here and there.

We read a book titled "Fall Leaves Fall!" and observed the real leaves.  After we enjoyed the colors, smell and textures, we made a leaf crown.

We enjoyed dancing and eurhythmics to the music, wearing our own-made leaf crown!

Joey Class's Report:Thu, November 19

It was a nice and warm day today.  We could see a boy in a T-shirt.

We would like to introduce you about our "Drink Time".

After the free play time, everyone get together, sit on a chair and have a drink.  We say, "Cheers!" or "Kampai!" before we start drinking.  When they sit around the table, they start conversations among themselves.  They become able to communicate more.  They have definitely developed in many ways.

We made an autumn wreath during art time.  We put acorns and leaves on paper and made a beautiful wreath.

May you enjoy a beautiful weekend!  See you next week!

Joey Class's Report: Wed, November 18

Kae sensei joined the Joey Wed-Fri class from today.  Let's have fun together.

We tried to copy actions written on a flashcard.
Look at them!  They are making a line.  They could stand in a line beautifully.

Joey Class's Report:Tue, November 17

We continued learning about family.

They could say out loud the family members, such as father, mother, grandfather, etc.

The Joey friends love the ABC song.  They gather together and sing it happily!   When we asked them the first letter of their name, they could find and point correctly.

We made a bagworm during art time.

We tear color paper into small pieces, put them on another sheet of paper and put eyes on it.

And ta-dah!!  It's a cute bagworm!

We put them on the big tree that we made last week.

Joey Class's Report:Fri, November 13

Today's theme was Fruits!!
They were so excited to see all those yummy fruit flashcards!
We pretended to eat them and check the taste of each fruit.  Is a lemon sweet or sour?  How about an orange?
Then, we tried the Fruit Basket game.  They need to stand up when their assigned fruit is called.  It was a bit confusing but they could understand that they need to switch seats after playing several times.  We had fun!
We also enjoyed drawing on a big sheet of paper.  We let them draw whatever they like and they enjoyed it so much.
