Joey class report: Wed, October 14

Time spent at YGK
will be a lifetime treasure
We enjoyed singing and dancing during morning meeting. When Lynette sensei said "shh", they copied her and did the same thing. They also pretended to be a ghost and danced to the music. They were so adorable!
We made a ghost during art time. They colored the paper with their favorite colors and put eyes and mouth on it. Look at their cute ghosts! Aren't they cute?
We learned "stand up" and "sit down" today.
When they hear "stand up", they could stand up straight!
As for the art time, we continued the Halloween theme.
Today, we made a bat. We put eyes on the paper, colored it with their favorite colors and made their handprints to make the bat's wings.
Their bats seem so ready to take a fright!
We made a Jack-O-Lantern during craft time!
We told them, " you can draw whatever you like". At the beginning, they seemed to be confused what to draw. But when they saw their friends started drawing, they started all together and could complete their colorful drawings. Let's put a mouth, eyes and a nose! And, ta-dah! Look at their colorful Jack-O-Lantern!
Some of them have an eyebrow or a mole as well! Aren't they cute?
We realized that they had become able to concentrate longer than before.
Everyone had so much fun!
Tomorrow is Jugoya, or moon viewing festival. We became a moon rabbit with our own-made rabbit ears.
We enjoyed jumping to the music.
Then, we made everyone's favorite, moon viewing dumplings. We made tiny dumplings while enjoying the texture of play dough.
Today is the last day we can spend with Cora sensei... It's such a sad thing... We gave her a thank you card.
Lynnet sensei will be part of the team from next week. We look forward to spending good times with her.
We continued the art from last time and finished our moons! We place pampas grass and dumplings as offerings to the moon. Look how they are unique! We are sure that we can have a wonderful evening.
One of our friends has brought a real pampas grass! Thank you! So we could look at it and draw it on paper.
It is a sad thing that today is the last day we have with Cora sensei. They thanked her for playing with them...
