YMCA Global Kindergarten is a full-day English kindergarten located in Kannai, Yokohama.
We believe that each child is the main character of their own learning.
Children learn by following their interests and questions—“What do I like?” and “Why?”—as they play, think, and explore.
Through these experiences, they grow while influencing and connecting with one another.
Children’s growth is not always immediately visible.
Like trees that spread their roots deep underground, they build strength where it cannot be seen, and over time, grow tall, extend their branches, and bloom.
We value this process of growth.
In an environment where each child is fully accepted and respected for who they are, we share moments of wonder and joy, as well as uncertainty and challenge, learning through trial and discovery while cherishing each day and every moment.
About the YMCA

Yokohama YMCA - Our Identity and Mission
We, the Yokohama YMCA, hereby declare our Identity and Mission. The work of the Yokohama YMCA will continue to focus on developing human potential and creating a just and peaceful global society, guided by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Specifically, we will strive to:
